Five generations of Feurich and logo

As early as 1851 the founder, Julius G. Feurich designed the first upright piano employing an underdamper action. This innovation put it fifty years ahead of its time, only being taken up worldwide by other manufacturers around the turn of the twentieth century.

The uprights also undergo the same careful manufacturing as the grand pianos. They are constructed to similar exacting standards of craftsmanship. All materials for these are made from the highest-quality materials. Clearly, the upright models are more compact, space saving and less expensive than the grands.
